Free Game Friday 5/15/20: Pingus
Not to be confused with a particular Sonic the Hedgehog meme, Pingus is actually an open-source clone of the classic puzzle game "Lemmings." Basically, "Pingus" stream into the level through a trapdoor, and you have to assign a number of them various roles to get a quota number safely to the goal at the end. Tunneling through the ground, giving them helicopter packs so they can survive longer falls, leaping over obstacles and so forth. It's not a 100% copycat of Lemmings, though - a few new elements creep in, like a Mario World styled world map and secret levels to find therein. A fun, well-made puzzler that's great for killing a few minutes, especially as it supports custom levels.
