A classic puzzle game among old-school PC gamers (though it technically had its first release on the Atari Lynx), Chip's Challenge had quite a bit to offer with 149 levels in the base game and various fan-made level packs to give it even more content. As with any good puzzler, it has a simple enough concept - get to the goal - but you have a ton of obstacles in your way and various tools to overcome them. Fireproof boots to walk over fire, flippers to cross water, blocks to push and build bridges with, switch puzzles, moving conveyor belts, and so forth. Most stages (but not all) also have you collecting a set number of chips to open the gate and contending with a time limit along the way, so you have to plan your moves carefully.
