Free Game Friday 3/6/2020: Skifree
If you're of a certain age and a computer dork, you may just remember a game included with the Windows Entertainment Pack called Skifree. A simple little game where you can play in one of three modes - Slalom, Tree Slalom or Freestyle (or you can skip all three and just goof around to your hearts' content - until the yeti eats you, that is). Your goal of course is to get a high score by avoiding flags and hazards or just doing tricks until you hit the goal line, though there are quite a few humorous animations to see - jumping into a larger tree will cause it to light on fire, for example. It's probably not the best-remembered of the Entertainment Pack games, but as with most of them, it's good bit of fun for killing a few minutes.
