The remake of the remake of the remake of the first Ys game!
The jingle that plays when you get an item sounds suspiciously similar to Metroid's. The original Metroid came out in August of 1986 while the first Ys game came out in June of 1987. However, Ys's Item Get jingle sounds much closer to that of Metroid 2, which came out in 1991 (1992 in Japan) and is the basis for the jingle in almost every following Metroid game. So... draw your own conclusion, I suppose.
