Let's Play the Mega Man Hendecalogy Bonus: Mega Man Powered Up

A remake of the original Mega Man game for the PSP, adding in two new Robot Masters and giving you the ability to unlock and play through the story as any of them (in addition to Roll, Proto Man and several versions of Mega Man himself).  The most prominent feature in the package is the included level editor, which allows players to build custom stages with "part packs" found in levels and even upload them to Capcom's servers for others to play.  So in that way the game is kind of an early precursor to LittleBigPlanet, only without the staggering mediocrity.

Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X were intended to be the first of a series of reimagined Mega Man games; however, low sales quickly put a damper on those plans and led to later games in the classic Mega Man franchise being relegated to budget-priced digital downloads.  Unfortunately, despite the success of Mega Man 9 and 10, the outlook doesn't look good for the franchise - Keiji Inafune's departure from Capcom and the subsequent cancellation of two highly anticipated Mega Man titles (Mega Man Universe and Mega Man Legends 3) has left the future of the series in doubt.
