Free Game Friday 3/27/20: Iter Vehemens ad Necem (IVAN)
A story-driven roguelike that begins with you as a slave with a dog. From there, of course, things are far from simple - enemies and traps are around every corner, and scavenging equipment along the way (made of everything from lead to obsidian to banana flesh - yes, seriously) will quickly become mandatory to your survival. The game also features a complex system of praying to gods for favors (or, depending on the one you find, bizarre disadvantages), individual limb damage, and numerous story paths to pick from, terminating in multiple endings. As with any roguelike, it's a very challenging game, but its sheer strangeness and many clever elements make it worth a look for genre fans.
