Spoony Plays Ultima: The First Age of Darkness, Part 1

The first proper game of the quintessential PC RPG franchise, Ultima also represents a significant jump in quality from Akalabeth.  The game introduced a more defined overworld map, interactive town and castle interiors, an expanded class system, equippable armor and a larger variety of weapons and spells, as well as numerous other innovations that we'll see as we progress.

This was also the only game in the franchise published by California Pacific Computer Company, who went bankrupt in 1983.

I'll also be providing links to scanned manuals for each of the games, since they provide a large portion of the lore and backstory for the games.
